2019.3 – Known issues resolved
The following table lists the resolutions for issues addressed in 2019.3, released on September 16, 2019:
Issue | Description |
---|---|
PFB-07749 - Rolling Forecast: plan file column AB [TFS 36913] |
Summary: The logic in column AB of the plan files appears incorrect. It is the total for July-Sept 2019. Instead of taking the total of July 2019 (column X), Aug 2019 (column Y) and Sept 2010 (column Z), it is taking an amount from column EA, which is RF_Waterfall_QtrAmt1. Resolution: Corrected the formula so that in column AB, where the calc method formulas search for the quarterly amount if the underlying monthly amounts is zero, the formula merely sums the monthly amounts. This removes the non-zero quarterly amount with zero monthlies, plus allows for zeroing out the values, if required. |
2019.3 PFB-07804 - Default Data fails to save due to invalid RFPlanGroup.Description [TFS 37382] |
Summary: When the 2019.2 HC package is applied to a system that has Axiom Rolling Forecast Quarterly (RF) in the suite and excludes the Rolling Forecast update in the suite, the following error occurs: Error Message: 07/12/2019 10:09 15:09:01 Success Processed 8 Axiom Queries for Document: "Default Data.xlsx" Worksheet: "CPVisibilitySettings" 15:09:03 Success Save To Database:Workbook:"Default Data.xlsx". Table:"" Not all clients who request the 2019.2 update are able to update Rolling Forecast during the same time as other products. Resolution: Corrected by adding or correcting relevant formulas so that the post package processing recognizes what version the client is using and either loads the description column and any entries or else ignores the new column. |
FTE Calculation for Leap Year is not calculating properly on RF Drivers [TFS 36902] |
Summary: In the RF drivers, the calculation is currently calculating incorrectly for leap year when using the 2080 calculation. Resolution: Corrected by fixing the calculation so that the 2080/2088 hourly computation matches the 2086/2092 calculation outcome, and the leap year difference in hours is entirely contained in the month of February. |
2019.3.2 – Known Issues Resolved
The following table lists the resolutions for issues addressed in 2019.3.2, released on November 11, 2019:
Issue | Description |
---|---|
PFB-07913 - RF VCC Setup driver: When a user saves the RF VCC Setup driver, the data saves to the table, but does not save to the spreadsheet [TFS 40550] |
Summary: The RF VCC is opening as read-only for all users because it is set to Replace Existing in the package manager. This means that when a user saves the RF VCC Setup driver, the data saves to the table but does not save to the spreadsheet. When the user reopens the driver, they do not see the changes, so they think that their changes did not save. Also, if they make another change to the driver and then save, their previous changes are overwritten by the defaults. Resolution: Corrected by changing the setting in the package manager from Replace Existing to Preserve Existing. |
PFB-08124 - AQ1 Forecast needs OtherDeduction in data filter [TFS 40877] |
Summary: Clients who do not include Other Deductions in the plan file Forecast sheet receive errors when building the plan files. Users have RFCODE.RFStdLine='NA', but RFCODE.RFType='OtherDeduction'. Clients that want to use a calculator for deductions and bring in Deductions by Payor AND Deductions for IP/OP will need this functionality to work. They do not want to use NoForecast as the CalcMethod because that will bring the historical data into the plan file, causing data duplication. Resolution: Corrected by: 1) Updating cell M151 to set the value of 1 so that OtherDeductions will interface. 2) Updating the data filter to solve for the expected configuration where RFCode.RFStdLIne is either configured for 'NA' (to not interface) or configured to interface if set to an option on the list (for example, OtherDeductions). |
PFB-08224 - RF GlobalData cm contains incorrect row reference in col Q:S. [TFS 40573] |
Summary: Clients using the Benefits - Group Health total row with the GlobalData Calc Method on the Plan File template Forecast sheet noticed that the FY2018 Jul-Sep 2018 Actual column, which contains the correct data, is the same as the FY2019 Jul-Sep 2019 Actual column. The actual 2019 data is different. Resolution: Sections added to the Plan File Forecast worksheet for the One Time Adjustments caused the reference row to shift down, so the code was referencing the wrong row. Corrected by changing the code to get data from the correct reference row. |
Forecast tab: Return Rate calc method references incorrect row, producing incorrect results [TFS 40584] |
Summary: On the Plan File Forecast tab, the Return Rate Calc Method is referencing the wrong row, producing incorrect results. Resolution: Corrected by changing the code to reference the correct row. |
Rolling Forecasting Template and CML fixes required [TFS 40614] |
Summary: The addition of One Time Adjustments rows and columns has caused the following issues in the Plan File template:
|
PFB-07917 - URGENT: Incorrect Formula in Fcst Qtrs for Same Qtr and Avg Fcst Mtds on Benefit [TFS 40733] |
Summary: In the Plan File template on the Forecast tab, there is an error in the Forecast Quarters formula when using the “Same Qtr” Forecast Method for Rate per FTE Benefits. There is also an error with the average portion of the formula. In both cases, the wrong columns are being referenced. Resolution: Corrected by changing the column referencing in the Pct of Salaries and the Rate per FTE calc methods. |
PFB-08249 - (FIF) OP Deductions rows only picking up current quarter's data [TFS 40734] |
Summary: In the Plan File template on the Forecast worksheet, the OP Deductions row current quarter displays deductions but displays zeros for prior quarters. Resolution: Corrected by changing the code to reference the correct columns. |
PFB-08244 - FIF: RF_Pct of Sal CM 1,000 and formatting row 13 [TFS 40736] |
Summary: In the Plan File template, in the Benefits Calc Method Percent of Salaries, row 13 (hidden row) is referencing W$31, which is the 1,000 divisor for those clients that do Rolling Forecast in 1,000. This reference to W$31 needs to be removed in all columns of this calc method. Also, the format does not display row 13 as a percent. Resolution: Corrected by removing the reference to W$31 in all columns of the calc method, and by fixing the format to display row 13 as a percentage. |
Manual configuration instructions
Configure Driver form security
IMPORTANT: If this is the first time your organization is using the Drivers form, you must first complete these steps.
To configure Driver form security:
- Save your current driver file before applying the update.
- Apply the update.
-
Your Security Administrator must assign the new Rolling Forecast Global Driver Management role to at least one user (preferably a user previously assigned the RF Admin role). This role allows full access to all driver data in the updated form. If your organization does not decentralize the access to the drivers, you may assign this role to more than one RF Admin or RF Analyst user.
NOTE: If more than one user is assigned the Rolling Forecast Global Driver Management role and both users open the driver files simultaneously, the data from the user that saves last will override any data saved by the other user in the drivers.
-
In the RF Admin task pane, in the Update Driver File section, double-click Drivers to open the new Rolling Forecast drivers. Click each driver tab, and click Save. This will properly apply the correct RFPlangroup tags to the data for security purposes.
-
These new drivers allow multiple users simultaneous access. If you have more than one Rolling Forecast Administrator and you want to control the access for that user without assigning the Rolling Forecast Global Driver Management role, the Security Administrator will need to update the Driver Security form for each of the users to apply the specific Driver Access and data access. The data access will be applied using the RFPlangroups as the filter.
NOTE: The filters applied for the driver files should coincide with the filters created in the table security. For example, all RFPlangroups assigned in the driver should encompass all the Entities and/or RFGroups assigned in the RF_Monthly table.
Known issues 2019.2
The following are known issues for this release.
Issue | Description |
---|---|
PFB-06122 - RF Target Variance - Last Month field def error [TFS 18839] |
Symptom: In the RF Target Variance worksheet, if the current period under review is period 1, then column P brings in the current year's period 12 (VariablesI41). It should bring in the last year's period 12. Explanation: Will be fixed in a future release. |
PFB-07590 - Remove 'Rolling Forecasting' from Axiom for Healthcare Product Package [TFS 35968] | Symptom: There are currently three options in the Axiom License Generator for Axiom Rolling Forecast:
Explanation: Selection of “Rolling Forecasting” license selection will be amended in a future release. |
IMPORTANT: Refer to the Axiom for Healthcare Suite 2019.3 Release Notes for additional known issues that have a suite-wide impact.
